Regarding the last post, we seem to be doing well without the beloved yellow block. Red is the new favorite, and a plastic spoon (??) is running a close second.
That's wonderful that he is adapting to the loss. Huge, in fact. We had a similar obsession with the fisher price aquarium that hangs on the crib. I remember collecting two extras, just in case. (They used to get all gunky and the fish stopped moving.) And then he just let it go and never looked back.
